For those of you tracking the 2 DoF arm project that several of us of have been working on, we passed pretty pretty major milestone this week. The the first prototype of the arm is mostly built; we are just waiting on some hardware. While this first prototype does not do much because it does not have an end effector it will allow us to test out the stepper motors, control system and IK, while we design the end effector. The first and a sector will be a pen attachment that enables the pen to go up and down.
